Under guidelines set by policy, the Associate Director of Human Resources is accountable for promoting quality services in all programs through achievement of employment and assignment of qualified personnel. Utilizes knowledge of recruitment/retention strategies, employment law, agency policy and procedures, state and federal regulations and general human resource practices in achieving library employment objectives. Additionally, the person in this position informs and advises the Director about staff concerns, particularly concerns with personnel policies and working conditions. The Associate Director of Human Resources is also responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating policies and programs covering the following: employment, employee relations, wage and salary administration, fringe benefit administration, and employee services. Coordinates the administration of employee benefit programs and annually reviews and submits benefit program recommendations to the Director
