About The Position
Associate Director of Clinical Skills Lab
Requirements
- Valid, unencumbered New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of related clinical experience, including direct patient care.
- Demonstrates knowledge of clinical skills instruction and competency‑based assessment in nursing or health professions education.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in internet use, computer literacy, and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching in an academic nursing or health‑profession program.
- Previous work in skills‑lab operations, simulation, or clinical education.
- Experience with accreditation standards relevant to nursing and PA education (e.g., AACN , ACEN , INACSL ).
