About The Position

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (Integrated Teams) Are you willing to assist with health center initiatives, program development, quality improvement activities, and onboarding of staff? Requirements

  • Advanced degree in psychology, social work, or counseling required.
  • Clinical license as a LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PsyD, or PHD,
  • Master’s degree in field of study, with commensurate practicum and internship which focused clinical mental health practice.
  • Practicum and Internship experience in the diagnosis and treatment of those problems specific to mentally ill patients manifesting a wide spectrum of illnesses and symptoms.
  • Practicum and Internship experience consulting and/or collaborating with the various agencies that provide care for mentally ill patients.
  • Quality training in psychotherapeutic techniques. BH Therapist (LCSW) must be trained and experienced in treating patients with a range of mental illness and different levels of functioning.

Responsibilities

  • Have the authority to direct and support employees daily work activities.
  • Conduct Performance reviews of behavioral health staff core competencies and ensure high quality clinical care, including review of Patient Satisfaction Survey results, Outcome Measures, Productivity reports, etc. and submit to HR department for record-keeping.
  • Coordinate training and mentoring of Behavioral Health clinical staff and students, if applicable.
  • Identify problems and takes appropriate corrective action.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements including Joint Commission, HRSA, HPAA, DPH, and OSHA.
