To provide leadership and supervision to the Behavioral Health Department. The Associate Director of Behavioral Health collaborates with ECSs finance, development, and other program and administrative staff to ensure effective service delivery, sufficient funding, and sound financial management. The Associate Director represents ECS to public agencies, community groups, and cooperating organizations on matters affecting services delivery. The Associate Director carries lead responsibility day-to-day management of the START team maintaining positive collaborative relationships with contracted host shelters; ensuring compliance with city contracts and the team meeting their Medi-Cal Units of Service. The Associate Director of Behavioral Health provides clinical consultation and leadership and will act as a resource to ensure that all shelter clients have the unique clinical services, resources and support needed. The Associate Director of Behavioral Health reports to the Director of Behavioral Health and serves as a member of ECSs management team.
