We are seeking an associate behavioral health director who is passionate about community healthcare and can implement the direction and management of Healthy Steps program, both services and staff. About the Role: As an associate behavior health director in a Federally Qualified Health Center, you’ll be a forward thinking strategic leader, and use your analytical skills to implement quality initiatives to provide administrative and clinical oversight for a wide range of patients, including those who are underinsured or uninsured. You’ll report directly to the behavioral health director and will have strong influencing ability in your role. You’ll be a part of an integrated care team dedicated to patient-centered care for the underserved population, and manage a team of licensed social workers focused on a better care experience for our patients.

Requirements

  • Requires master's degree in social work or its equivalent from an accredited program and a current and unrestricted New York State social work license, LCSW.
  • Eligibility for FQHC credentialing and participation in federal programs required.
  • 5+ years of clinical experience preferred.
  • 2-5 years of administrative or clinical leadership experience required
  • FQHC or healthcare experience preferred
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow through

  • Teamwork: you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals
  • Able to read, write and speak the English language.
