About The Position

The Associate Director, IT Site Operations & ERP Delivery is a strategic, execution‑oriented technology leader focused on enterprise process excellence, delivery governance, and ERP program leadership across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Procurement, HR, and corporate functions. The role serves as the IT Site Leader for the Chicago manufacturing facility, accountable for local technology operations and readiness to support commercialization and Phase 3 activities. This position owns enterprise systems and delivery processes that enable corporate, manufacturing, and operational readiness and does not intersect with or support R&D‑specific laboratory or scientific informatics systems. This is an onsite position in Bloomingdale, Illinois and will only consider candidates eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT leadership in life sciences or regulated manufacturing with demonstrated site leadership and program delivery.
  • Hands‑on leadership of ERP programs (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics): selection, implementation, integration, data migration, and hyper care.
  • Proven experience establishing SDLC/PMO governance, change control, and portfolio metrics; delivery in SOX/ITGC environments.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, inventory, procurement, order management, distribution/3PL, and finance/record‑to‑report processes.
  • Demonstrated success managing vendors/MSPs, SOWs, and budgets; skilled in executive communication and stakeholder management
  • Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and non‑technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, including structured root‑cause analysis and decision‑making in regulated environments.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational discipline, including documentation quality, attention to detail, and process consistency.
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive cross‑functional relationships and operate as a trusted advisor.
  • Proficiency in program and project management, vendor oversight, and financial awareness to support delivery outcomes.
  • Strength in process design, risk management, and structured collaboration across operational and corporate teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercialization/Phase 3 readiness experience in biotech, radiopharmaceuticals, or medical device.
  • Integration experience between ERP and QMS, MES, FP&A, CRM, HRIS, labeling, and payment/expense platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Act as IT Site Operations Leader (Chicago) overseeing local infrastructure, and manufacturing/warehouse floor technology, ensuring uptime, resilience, and support readiness for commercial operations.
  • Build and execute site IT plans aligned to commercialization milestones (throughput, distribution, customer service), cyber and physical security, and audit readiness.
  • Serve as primary IT partner for Chicago Operations, Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Procurement, HR, Facilities, and EHS; align priorities, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Establish and mature SDLC/IT delivery governance (stage gates, change control, release management, risk/issue management) across enterprise systems.
  • Standardize process documentation, SOPs, templates, and operating metrics; publish delivery KPIs and dashboards for portfolio/program health and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive audit‑ready controls across IT delivery (SOX/ITGC, 21 CFR Part 11 where applicable), partnering with Finance, Internal Audit, and Quality.
  • Co‑lead the ERP related projects and executive recommendation; align on deployment phasing and the future‑state enterprise architecture.
  • Lead ERP integration activities (program plan, resourcing, vendor management, data readiness, testing, cutover, stabilization) to support commercial production and order‑to‑cash.
  • Own cross‑functional process mapping and standardization across Finance/Accounting, Procurement, Inventory/WMS, MRP/MES integration points, Order Management, Distribution/3PL, FP&A, and HR/Workforce processes.
  • Define integration strategy and data contracts between ERP and adjacent platforms (e.g., QMS, MES, FP&A, CRM, HRIS, labeling, payments/expenses) in partnership with owning functions.
  • Lead cross‑functional enterprise technology initiatives using a lightweight PMO model; enforce scope, schedule, budget, quality, and benefits realization.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations; maintain executive communications and steering governance.
  • Direct vendor/consultant teams; ensure SOW clarity, deliverable acceptance, and measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day enterprise IT operations in partnership with the MSP and service owners (identity, endpoints, networks, collaboration, service desk) with white‑glove service levels for the Chicago site leadership team.
  • Ensure compliance with Perspective IT Policies, SOX, ITGC, data integrity, and applicable GxP obligations for systems in Chicago.
  • Lead onboarding execution for Chicago‑based hires; ensure timely access provisioning, device readiness, and training for ERP and enterprise systems.
