Title: Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis Business Unit: Financial Planning & Analysis Location: Charlotte, NC Barings is a leading global financial services firm dedicated to meeting the evolving investment and capital needs of our clients and customers. Job Summary This position will support key financial processes, including forecasting, budget planning, and strategic analysis at a firm-wide level. The focus will be conducting financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. This is a visible role that includes frequent interaction with key internal stakeholders, as well as external finance partners. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively interact and influence across a matrix business organizational structure and closely liaison with internal and external partner teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience within a finance function or with relevant experience in strategy/management consulting, investment banking, or corporate finance
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • Excellent analytical, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
  • Ability to work across all functions and levels of an organization
  • Strong motivation, sense of urgency, high-level of energy, and problem-solving skills
  • Takes ownership, responsibility for tasks and sees them through
  • Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint required

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning a plus
  • Experience with incentive compensation modeling a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing delivery of financial results and reporting
  • Understand and manage analyses for highly visible incentives compensation
  • Provide analytical support on a wide range of projects and cross-functional initiatives
  • Proactively develop improvements to processes using available tools and AI aids
