Your Mission: Lead the Keel financial planning and analysis process. The FP&A Director will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis of the company. The role will report to the Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Expert financial statement modeling (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash flows) and analytical skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial analysis and accounting principles, and a proven track record of developing financial models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications, such as IFS.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Builds strong connections and collaborates effectively across different teams and departments.
  • Encourages ongoing learning, innovation, and refinement of processes to achieve better results.
  • Takes initiative to address challenges and consistently delivers impactful, quantifiable outcomes.
  • Efficiently allocates and utilizes team members, time, and materials to achieve goals.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • CPA is preferred
  • Experience with waterfall development a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes including full financial statement requirements.
  • Review the indirect rate structure of the company.
  • Develop cash flow forecast working with PMO to assist with liquidity visibility.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop models to assist in evaluating potential acquisitions to support company growth initiatives.
  • Support capital allocation decisions, investment analysis, and ROI evaluations
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks to inform financial strategy
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data
