About This Role: The Associate Director, Resource Optimization holds a crucial position within our Data Science team, spearheading the creation of cutting-edge modeling solutions that facilitate strategic business decisions across Marketing, Medical, Sales, and Access. In this role, you will lead impactful data science projects focusing on marketing optimization, machine learning-based personalization, and strategies to enhance field force effectiveness. As a key contributor, you will drive initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that data outputs are not only actionable and accurate but also scalable and aligned with brand priorities. Your role as a thought partner to commercial leadership will involve advocating for the use of data and AI to deliver substantial business value. What You’ll Do: Lead development and deployment of Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to measure channel-level promotional impact Quantify ROI across field force, digital, media, speaker programs, and patient initiatives Build resource allocation optimization frameworks to improve commercial investment efficiency Support annual brand planning and in-year budget reallocation through scenario modeling Execute the long-term data science and AI vision, ensuring alignment with enterprise capability roadmaps and commercial priorities. Act as a trusted partner to insights and marketing teams, demonstrating rigor and knowledge in data science algorithms. Serve as the primary data science partner for U.S. commercial brand teams, translating business objectives into analytical frameworks. Guide business stakeholders through insight interpretation and activation, ensuring outputs are integrated into workflows. Provide technical expertise and thought leadership on the development of analytical tools and proprietary data products. Promote analytical rigor, responsible experimentation, and model governance best practices. Collaborate with a high-performing team of data scientists, encouraging learning and experimentation. Manage relationships with external analytics partners, ensuring alignment with internal teams for solution delivery.
