Our Consumer Protection, Product Liability, and Environment (CPPLE) practice works with leading law firms and government agencies on matters involving alleged deceptive practices, product safety, labeling, advertising, and economic damages. We apply rigorous empirical methods to evaluate consumer behavior, assess liability exposure, and quantify economic impact. We are seeking a person with a graduate degree in economics or marketing with strong empirical training and an interest in applying it to real‑world disputes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high‑visibility litigation and advisory engagements across a range of industries, including consumer products, technology, healthcare, and financial services.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in economics, marketing, or related subjects from a reputable university.
  • Minimum eight (8+) years of experience in economic and litigation consulting.
  • Strong background in microeconomics, industrial organization, applied econometrics, or consumer behavior.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and statistical programming (Stata, R, Python, or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in designing, fielding, and analyzing surveys and experiments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical analysis into clear narratives.
  • Desire to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate an interest in generating business and becoming known in the marketplace as an Expert in their field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement empirical analyses related to consumer behavior, product usage, market structure, and alleged economic harm.
  • Build damages models, including overcharge, benefit‑of‑the‑bargain, and restitution frameworks.
  • Conduct statistical and econometric analyses using large and complex datasets.
  • Design, field, and analyze surveys and experiments.
  • Draft expert report sections, memos, and client-facing materials.
  • Support testifying experts in preparing testimony and regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across EDI, including antitrust, labor, and securities.
  • Present analytical findings clearly to internal teams and external stakeholder.
