About The Position

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a CORE, Data Strategy, and Governance Lead. This M6 role is pivotal in driving operational excellence across our Commercial Engines Operations organization and network by integrating robust data strategies and governance frameworks with CORE principles to deliver measurable performance improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital technology and data management, combined with a deep understanding of the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business. They will be passionate about leveraging CORE methodologies to optimize processes, enhance decision-making, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree and 10+ years of experience in data strategy, governance, digital technology or project management role, ideally with a focus on large-scale operational environments; OR Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant industry experience.
  • 4+ years of management experience leading cross-functional teams and direct reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Project Management or Engineering.
  • Familiarity with the aviation MRO business and its associated data requirements.
  • Proven expertise in data governance frameworks, data quality management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and data management platforms (e.g., SAP, Databricks).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
  • CORE certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data strategy and governance initiatives that align with Commercial Engines Operations' objectives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities within data processes, leveraging CORE principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance outcomes for the MRO network.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs, ensuring alignment with business goals and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the design, optimization, and standardization of data management processes to enhance data quality, accessibility, and security while driving improved operational performance.
  • Work closely with IT and digital technology teams to integrate cutting-edge solutions that advance data analytics, reporting capabilities, and overall decision-making.
  • Establish and promote policies, standards, and compliance frameworks that support robust data governance while fostering a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in data strategy, governance, and CORE methodologies, offering guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in data strategy and governance.
