Verizon’s Consumer Wholesale organization plays a crucial role in how Verizon presents itself in the marketplace, enabling additional revenue streams and subscriber growth through consumer-focused MVNO distribution channels. The Channel Management team you lead focuses on the day-to-day account management of two key channels for this important business.. As an Associate Director of Channel Management, you will: Manage and motivate a team of client partner managers to cultivate partner engagement and plans to achieve revenue targets and objectives. Create channel development goals and lead commercial engagements in your assigned channels, lead SoW intake & work order processes, and contract execution Develop and manage executive relationships internally and externally Provide channel leadership and direction to the broader team members within the Wholesale organization: Product, Operations, and Platform teams, as well as any external supporting organizations' teams (Legal, Finance, Revenue Assurance) Ensure that both the customer and Verizon are meeting all contractual obligations Manage external client channel communications at executive and working levels Lead the development and ensure execution of business and operational improvements in assigned channels Act as an escalation point to senior management on critical issues/risks/decision points, and management of these elements on an ongoing basis Provide leadership in qualifying customer strategic business requirements, contract negotiations, exhibit strong financial management, and ROI skills Create and manage prioritization of all ongoing client partner engagements Aggregate input from client partner interactions with external customers to guide product development and roadmap priorities Manage expenses to meet budget guidelines and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes What we’re looking for... Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Channel management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business field, e.g., Business Administration/Management
  • Channel management experience with a tier 1 channel
  • Negotiated agreements, influenced others to perform, and to meet their goals. Ideally, external partners
  • Managed complex projects with internal and external team members.
  • Experience with managing, coaching, and developing people.
  • Demonstrated organization, time management, communication, strategic, analytical, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
