Embedded within the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, the Center for the Development of Therapeutics (CDoT) is a highly collaborative organization of professional drug discovery scientists. Our mission is to translate the deep biological insights emerging from the Broad community into new therapeutics. To accomplish this mission, we partner with faculty from MIT, Harvard, and the Harvard teaching hospitals together with industry professionals in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and venture capital firms and advance cutting-edge drug discovery projects. We also create new technologies and work to combine the unique capabilities of the Broad Institute to enable new therapeutic approaches that will broadly benefit the scientific community. We are seeking an experienced and creative Associate Director of Biologics to lead our emerging biologics research and development function. This role will be responsible for building a team that will guide the discovery, optimization, and preclinical development of novel protein- and antibody-based therapeutics. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in biologics R&D, a strong track record in therapeutic protein engineering, and experience leading cross-functional teams to advance molecules toward clinical development. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and creative leader to work at the interface of industry and academia to advance projects from concept to clinic.
