Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation's capital. With the Hilltop Campus located in the heart of the historic Georgetown neighborhood, and the Capitol Campus, just minutes from the U.S. Capitol and U.S. Supreme Court, Georgetown University offers rigorous academic programs, a global perspective, and unparalleled opportunities to engage with Washington, D.C. Our community is a close-knit group of remarkable individuals driven by intellectual inquiry, a commitment to social justice, and a shared dedication to making a difference in the world. Georgetown University's Office of Advancement is committed to cultivating a safe, equitable, diverse, and inclusive work environment that honors the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of our broader colleagues and broader Georgetown community. Consistent with our Jesuit values, we aim to foster a culture that accepts and cares for each individual, and we believe this is central to achieving our goals in support of Georgetown's mission. Georgetown University's industry-based alumni alliance groups bring together alumni with common professional experience and interests. Given the already strong class and regional structures, alliance engagement provides an additional avenue by which alumni who may not be inclined or able to engage through their class or local club can get involved with Georgetown. There are currently five chartered alliance groups: the Wall Street Alliance, Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance, Georgetown Entertainment & Media Alliance, Georgetown Technology Alliance, and Georgetown Angel Investor Network. Additionally, there is a multi-phased development process for groups that aspire to one day become a chartered alliance group. By growing the alumni alliances, the University hopes to: a) connect alumni with each other for the purposes of networking, and thereby connect them more closely to Georgetown; b) grow the University brand in industries of strategic importance; and c) expand mentorship and job/internship/informational resources for students. The Associate Director of Alumni Alliance Programs & Engagement is a key member of the Alumni Relations team, Alumni Association, and Office of Advancement. This position will work closely with volunteer leadership and the University to develop, manage, and build unique events, programs, and resources for the alliance groups at Georgetown.
