About GMNS Product: As part of the Global Merchant & Network Services group (GMNS), the GMNS Product team is at the core of American Express. GMNS Product enables consistent, scalable, and well-governed delivery of network products and capabilities that serve issuers, acquirers, and partners globally. About the Role: The GMNS Product Governance team is building scalable product governance and lifecycle frameworks that will serve as the foundation for operational consistency, transparency, and excellence across how we develop, deliver, and sustain products and capabilities. The Associate, Product Governance Strategy & Operations will support the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of governance processes, operating standards, and lifecycle frameworks across GMNS Product. This role will contribute to building scalable tools, controls, and operating mechanisms that enable greater efficiency, clarity, and accountability. Given the evolving scope of this function, this role offers broad exposure across product, technology, risk, and control teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a structured and process-oriented mindset, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while helping translate strategic objectives into practical, operational solutions.
