Associate, Designer (Dockers)

The Associate Designer supports the Senior Designer(s) in the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery, by contributing original, trend-appropriate design concepts that meet market needs and drive sales and ensuring the timely execution of each stage in the creation process.
Requirements
- Creative with excellent sketching abilities and a refined taste level
- Ability to take direction for preliminary design research, including competitive analysis, pull fabrics, develop concepts, assemble presentation boards for meetings, prepare mock-ups, color-ups, inspirational images
- Excellent sense of color, ability to put together a color palette, comment on lab dips, etc.
- Comprehensive understanding of garment construction, fit and finishes
- Understanding of Menswear market and ability to speak to trends
- Able to navigate complex organizational matrixes
- Ability to foster meaningful cross functional relationships
- Minimum 2-3 years in apparel design and degree in Fashion
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Programs utilized for job: Adobe creative suites, Flex PLM, Browzwear, Kaledo, Miro, various AI programs.
