Why This Role Is Valuable Microsoft Dynamics is a critical tool that allows several of our Portfolio Companies to efficiently run their business, deliver on customer requests, manage operations, and add customer value. This role is at a key intersection of IT and the business and is a prime example of IT enabling the business.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field or heavy work experience in a similar environment.
  • 3+ years experience customizing and extending Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience managing the Power Platform and building flows in Power Automate.
  • Experience with web resources, Deployment Pipelines, and solution management.
  • Proficient in C#, JavaScript, plugin development, and the Dynamics 365 API
  • Experience working with a helpdesk ticketing system (e,g. Service Now, Zoho, Zendesk).
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications
  • Experience with the Field Service Mobile App
  • Proficient in SQL or other languages
  • Agile software development experience

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of developers by guiding implementation, assisting with technical documentation, and creating solutions for complex business processes.
  • Designing, developing, and configuring Dynamics 365 environments, serving as the subject matter expert.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving user submitted tickets and managing helpdesk resources.
  • Managing solutions and deployments of new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Advising our portfolio companies in the best practices, leveraging new Microsoft features and releases.
  • Working closely with business users to identify requirements and create solutions to business problems.
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions that can be executed on and delivered.
