We are seeking an Associate Creative Director, Art to lead and elevate creative for a high-profile cosmetic pharmaceutical client. This role will play a critical leadership position on a major upcoming launch, with significant upfront concept development and production The ideal candidate brings a refined design sensibility, strong conceptual thinking, and experience working within regulated categories. While pharma experience is welcome, luxury or high-end beauty experience is highly preferred. You must be comfortable navigating guidelines and restrictions while still delivering breakthrough creative. This role requires autonomy, strong client presence, and enthusiasm for integrating AI into the creative process as a tool for innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in advertising, digital, or full-service agencies, with a strong art direction background
  • Demonstrated ability to work within regulated categories and adhere to strict guidelines
  • Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, design excellence, and integrated campaigns
  • Experience leading creative through production, including shoots
  • Confident and polished client presentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across disciplines
  • Strong strategic instincts and ability to translate briefs into compelling visual narratives
  • Proficiency and comfort using AI as part of the creative toolkit

  • Luxury or high-end beauty experience strongly preferred; pharma experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead concept development and art direction for a major cosmetic pharmaceutical launch
  • Bring strong, strategically grounded ideas that work within regulatory and brand guidelines
  • Present creative work to clients with confidence, clearly articulating rationale and vision
  • Partner closely with strategy, account, production, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive creative execution
  • Drive excellence across campaign touchpoints from upfront development through October launch
  • Oversee creative development for August production shoot, ensuring high craft and brand alignment
  • Navigate and interpret regulatory guidelines to produce compliant yet compelling work
  • Integrate AI tools into the creative process to enhance ideation, design, and production workflows
  • Operate autonomously, managing timelines and deliverables while maintaining creative quality
  • Identify and solve complex creative challenges with thoughtful, design-forward solutions
