As we continue to expand our operations and client base, we are seeking an entry- to mid-level Associate Counsel to support the company’s legal function and provide guidance across all sectors of our business. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed attorney with 1–2 years of experience looking to grow in a dynamic, multi-industry environment. The Associate Counsel will assist with legal matters related to corporate transactions, liability, regulatory compliance, and contract management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments. This role requires licensure to practice in Florida and the ability to coordinate with legal professionals in other jurisdictions.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Florida (required)
  • 1–2 years of experience in business, transactional, or corporate law
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to collaborate with internal departments and build relationships with legal professionals in other states

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in industries such as staffing, construction, insurance, or security is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, agreements, NDAs, and MOUs across all company sectors
  • Support legal responses to workers’ compensation and liability claims
  • Provide legal guidance to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Help maintain corporate governance, licensing, and registration documentation
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed
  • Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on the company’s operations
  • Assist in legal matters related to business transactions, including due diligence and risk assessment
