About The Position

Summary: The Corporate Partnerships Associate will provide support to the full-time members of the Corporate Partnerships Department of the New York Mets. This is a short-term, full-time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with the sales team to pursue prospects, including category/company research, meeting preparation and proposal development via Photoshop, PowerPoint, and various other tools Implement partner promotions and on-site activation programs including gameday tabling, sampling, in-game features facilitation, kids’ instructional clinics, etc. Coordinate VIP hospitality for Corporate Partnerships team – including batting practice visits, suite hosting and ticketing related troubleshooting, ballpark tours, etc. Conduct research on industry trends and initiatives to share back with Corporate Partnerships Strategy and Sales team to alert of new opportunities to be leveraged or implemented by Mets to improve partnerships and fan experiences Assist with planning and execution of special events at Citi Field and for partner integration Assigned to supporting role on select partnership accounts to assist Account Managers with day-to-day responsibilities General support for department as required: schedule meetings, filing, mailing, copying/scanning, CRM management and cleanup, facilitating weekly staff meetings and assisting ad-hoc research projects and tasks at manager’s discretion Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Undergraduate degree Ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and deadlines Strong organization and communication skills Ability to build positive working relationships throughout the organization Team player with dedication to highest level of standards and excellence Professional conduct and demeanor Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a plus Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Driver’s license required Physical Demands: This position regularly requires sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time While performing some job duties, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds The above information is intended to describe the general nature, type, and level of work to be performed.
