Requirements

Juris Doctor required.
3+ years’ experience of post-bar professional legal experience required.
Exceptional written and verbal communication and drafting skills.
AI fluency – experience with AI tools.
Analytical and proven problem-solving skills.
High-integrity and able to maintain strict confidence with sensitive material and matters.
Strong collaboration and team player attitude.

Nice To Haves

Prior demonstrated exposure to supporting P3 projects or in the construction industry will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Provides advice to leadership and business development teams on contractual impact of proposed actions for various projects.
Reviews project contract documents to identify and analyze legal risk related to a project. Works to mitigate and/or resolve risk to project or the company.
Drafts project correspondence and negotiates agreements, including Owner agreements, subcontract agreements with designers and civil contractors, interface agreements, lenders’ direct agreements, and parent company guarantees.
Works closely with JV partners and external counsel to negotiate deals, completes closing paperwork and closing books.
Advises project stakeholders of potential disputes and recommends mitigation strategies.
Prepares user manuals and training sessions for project contracts working closely with corporate legal and project leadership.
Reviews and supports submission requirements for Request for Proposals (RFP).
Reviews contract changes to ensure specifications comply with project agreements.
Supports banking transactions by reviewing related agreements and complying with corporate governance requirements.
