About the team and role Our Americas Legal team is a collaborative, business‑focused group that partners closely with leaders across Sales, Product, Privacy, and Finance to support GBG’s rapidly evolving identity and fraud solutions portfolio. As Associate Corporate Counsel , you will play a key role in providing day‑to‑day commercial legal support to our U.S. and regional teams. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, Americas , you will help drive operational excellence by reviewing commercial agreements, supporting senior attorneys on more complex matters, and helping internal teams navigate legal and compliance considerations. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded attorney who thrives in fast‑paced environments and enjoys working cross‑functionally.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities .
  • A collaborative, business‑oriented mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment .
  • Curiosity about GBG’s technology, customers, and products .
  • 2–4 years of in‑house experience , ideally supporting commercial contracting or technology transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and support business teams.
  • Basic knowledge of privacy and data protection principles (e.g., GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital identity, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or financial services .
  • Background working in a SaaS or technology organization.
  • Familiarity with U.S. state privacy laws or broader data protection frameworks.
  • Experience using or piloting AI‑enabled legal tools and legal workflow technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial and SaaS agreements with customers, vendors, and partners to support business growth.
  • Partner with senior attorneys on complex, strategic, or high‑value negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research , prepare written guidance, and support internal stakeholders with practical, risk‑aligned advice.
  • Assess legal and regulatory risks and translate them into actionable recommendations for business teams.
  • Build trusted partnerships with teams across Sales, Product, Finance, Privacy, Customer Success, and Operations .
  • Support new product launches by gathering requirements, reviewing documentation, and assisting with legal readiness.
  • Help maintain and improve internal processes, templates, and contracting playbooks.
