As an Associate Controls Engineer, you will join the Thermal Power Projects group, which delivers fully engineered control system solutions for power plants across North America. This team specializes in replacing existing plant control systems with Ovation and provides project management, engineering design, system integration, testing, and commissioning services to deliver comprehensive solutions to our customers. We offer hands-on experience, on-the-job training, and mentorship from senior engineers to help you build your technical expertise and advance your career.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of related experience in an engineering environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within North America.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience designing or programming controls for PLC or DCS applications in the power industry.
