Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field (MBA, Juris Doctor (JD), and/or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) preferred) with 12-15 years of experience negotiating and administering complex contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and U.S. Government contracting.
  • Experience supporting classified or highly regulated programs.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership; excellent analytical, negotiation, and written communication skills in fast‑paced environments.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel up to ~10%
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight and governance for a portfolio of U.S. Government contracts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, FAR/DFARS requirements, and defined risk tolerance.
  • Serve as the senior escalation authority for contractual interpretation, compliance posture, and risk decisions, and as the primary interface with U.S. Government contracting officers, primes, and executive‑level customers.
  • Lead contract strategy for major USG captures, proposals, negotiations, and complex contract vehicles (e.g., cost‑reimbursable, incentive, IDIQ, hybrid).
  • Direct contractual review and compliance of RFPs/RFQs, proposals, representations and certifications, flow‑downs, pricing strategies, and negotiation documentation in partnership with Finance and Legal.
  • Ensure compliant contract administration and audit readiness across programs, including issue resolution, claims, disputes, DCAA/DCMA audits, governance, metrics, and records integrity.
  • Lead, develop, and scale a high‑performing contracts organization through talent development, training, standardization, and best practices in federal contracting and audit compliance.
