About The Position

The Associate Consultant will be part of a team that works for and within Industrial Customers at Power Plants, Manufacturing Facilities and other Industrial Environments. The company has four (4) distinct lines of business: Industrial Technology, Environmental Consulting, Industrial Automation and Project Management. Bring your initiative and willingness to work! Requirements

• Experience implementing and administering client and network operating system
• Technology experience, degree preferred, not required
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated team players and who has strong communication, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in the field with installations - Work locations are primarily in New Jersey at our Office location(s), or customer sites. However, we require a willingness to work at customer locations, primarily in the NY, NJ metro area, with the potential for some travel outside our local area.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, to include Excel, Word, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Cisco CCNA certification a plus or interest in earning certification

Responsibilities

• Work with our consulting team on customer projects.
• Resolve issues with applications, systems or networks by designing and implementing solutions
• Understand what users need, and modify system and network requirements accordingly
• Test and support networks
• Assure that the networks are secure and available to all users and that networks operate smooth
• Support other consultants with Field Installation work and Customer Activities.
