About The Position

About the Role: You will be a critical contributor to the full-cycle conference production of 4 to 6 accounting and financial services-focused conferences annually. You will manage the content development process, speaker engagement and the production components required to deliver professional events that educate and engage while meeting financial and customer satisfaction goals. You will report to the Senior Conference Producer. This is a hybrid role.

Requirements

  • 4+ years' professional experience in project management, marketing or event related area
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Manage the conference content execution plan for each assigned event. Use the Event Management System (EMS), collaborative workflow management tools, and applicable systems. These systems include event set up, abstract collection, speaker management, content distribution, and development of relevant production timelines. Ensure partnered application throughout the process.
  • Manage Speaker confirmation and engagement processes in line legal, financial and strategic plans. Partner with Conference Committees to ensure outreach to and confirmation of Speakers. Be the primary contact for Speakers throughout conference cycle. Set up customized portal and provide resources promoting efficient engagement.
  • Manage the communication, distribution and collection of materials and required information from presenters including follow up to ensure compliance.
  • Be a primary liaison for assigned conferences with internal partners including Marketing, Communications, Operations and Sales to ensure agenda and content-focused information is accurate, up to date and applicable. Monitor content distribution and promotion channels including websites and emails for accuracy and opportunities. Communicate adjustments and suggestions with respective partners
  • Collaborate with Virtual Conferences and Operations team to deliver all relevant information required to produce in person, hybrid and events
  • Manage the speaker and program content related expenses following event budget and expense forecasts. Ensure accurate forecasts and reconciliations in collaboration with Operations and Finance teams.
  • Lead the full speaker reimbursement workflow, serving as the primary liaison between speakers and Finance to troubleshoot issues, enforce policy standards, provide accurate documentation, and ensure payment.
  • Review predictive models and registration reports to monitor revenue and contribution status. Accountable for collaboration with team members, department management and partners to support efforts to grow revenue and engagement.
  • Communicate status of event expenses to Conference Producers promptly and provide insights into cost savings and revenue opportunities.
