About The Position

As part of the Player Development department, the Associate Coach will work at an assigned minor league affiliate or complex team to advance the club’s use and understanding of available technological and data to improve player performance. The selected individual will manage the application and dissemination of collected information and coaching expertise, working across the areas of Player Development. Our Player Development department is committed to building systems that contribute to major league wins by developing power, accuracy, and adaptability through representative and difficult practice. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional or college coaching/playing experience, or similar background

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the organizational initiatives that advance pitching, hitting, infield, outfield, catching, and base running
  • Throw competitive batting practice, hit fungo, in game base coach as well as other on-field tasks as assigned
  • Employ evidence-based baseball training that aligns with Brewers Player Development principles
