About The Position

The Associate Client Service Manager provides high level support to the Personal Lines team in the handling of new and renewal business placements. The position will be working within Hylant Toyotsu, a joint venture dedicated to supporting Japanese clients. The associate will work as part of a team sharing duties to serve the needs of Personal Lines clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; some college level course work preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of personal lines insurance experience
  • Valid Property & Casualty License (or obtain license within 90 days of employment)
  • Possess bilingual skills with English and Japanese languages (preferred)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF and Outlook)
  • Proven demonstration of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including listening, speaking and writing
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • CISR, INS or ACSR designation preferred
  • Possess bilingual skills with English and Japanese languages (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Handle the full new business process, including preparing quotes, proposals, and binding coverage across multiple markets. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and competitive options for clients.
  • Review expiration lists and oversee renewal management preparation activities coordinating with appropriate service.
  • Prepare insurance verification requests such as certificates of insurance or automobile identification cards and submit to the insureds.
  • Process and submit client coverage change requests to the appropriate carrier
  • Policy cancellation processing
  • Assist in maintaining client information in agency management system(s) including data input, documentation upload, client information updates, policy details, document management, and other related information as requested.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Understand clients’ insurance needs, explain coverage details, and provide insurance quotes tailored to their requirements.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls and emails on a daily basis.
  • Claims Support: Assist clients throughout the claims process by offering guidance and filing notices of loss when necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively within the Personal Insurance team to deliver exceptional client service. Build and maintain strong relationships with general agencies and markets to ensure competitive coverage options and smooth policy handling.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
