Scope of Responsibilities Responsible for acting as primary contact between Yacht clients and insurance carriers, and retaining Yacht clients through good customer service. Market new business and renewals on yachts. Must have strong Yacht experience both client and Market. Location Open to Work within any NSI South Florida Office Location

Requirements

  • Insurance Expertise – Strong understanding of Marine and Personal Lines coverages. Personal Lines minimum 5 years. Yacht Experience 3 years.
  • Market and Industry Knowledge – In-depth knowledge of the insurance marketplace, including carriers and coverage options for Marine..
  • Client-Centric Mindset – Ability to clearly explain coverages to clients and provide tailored risk management solutions.
  • Strong Communicator – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate and advise clients confidently.
  • Relationship Builder – Skilled at fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized – Capable of managing multiple accounts while ensuring accuracy in policies and proposals.
  • Relevant Work Experience – Previous experience at a local agency or insurance is highly desirable.
  • License– Property & Casualty License

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact between client and/or producers and insurance carriers, and apply knowledge of insurance policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service and responsible advice to all clients and/or producers.
  • Contact and visit assigned clients and/or producers within required time frames to evaluate client needs and make recommendations, present bid results, relate new product information and receive feedback on services.
  • Process new cases by requesting appropriate documentation from producers or clients as needed
  • Prepare all pertinent information, required documentation and correspondence to set up permanent case files and update the computer system.
  • Coordinate application process with producers or clients as needed.
  • Prepare and provide price quotes for all new and existing clients as needed.
  • Quote, bind and underwrite all renewal applications and new business in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Issue endorsements for all client policy changes.
  • Answer client inquires as needed.
  • Process claims as needed.
  • Prepare pre-renewal presentation materials and suggest or offer additional options or policies to clients and/or producers.
  • Review renewal actions and discuss with carriers, negotiate changes, draft renewal proposals and submit.
  • Document all telephone inquiries and pertinent policy information on computer system.
