About The Position

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Chaplain to provide spiritual care and lead services for residents across our continuum of care, including memory care, assisted living, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing. The Associate Chaplain works closely with our Chaplain and residents providing oversight and coordination of pastoral care at Still Hopes. This position will serve as the primary point of contact with the passing of Still Hopes residents and will organize and plan memorial services in coordination with families and clergy. Plan and lead services for patients in memory care, assisted living, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing. Provide pastoral care, spiritual support, and counseling to residents, families, and staff. Offer individualized spiritual support, particularly for residents with cognitive impairments. Visit residents regularly across all levels of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic resident well-being. Assist with memorial services and special observances. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency and giftedness in pastoral care.

Requirements

  • Must have valid drivers license

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of master’s degree at an accredited seminary preferred
  • Ordained minister preferred
  • Experience working with seniors with at least three years working in a parish (church) setting is preferred for this position
