About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Lead Conversion, the Associate Channel Manager of Marketing Automation supports the planning, execution, reporting and optimization of both automated marketing programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and AI-based phone and SMS campaigns. This role is responsible for building customer journeys, deploying targeted campaigns, ensuring data accuracy, providing detailed executive-level reporting and impact, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive engagement, lead conversion, and personalized customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with digital marketing, email/SMS marketing, and marketing automation.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio).
  • Deep understanding of audience segmentation, customer journeys, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
  • Experience with SQL for segmentation and Automation Studio queries.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template updates.
  • Exposure to CRM (Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud preferred).
  • Google Analytics 4 experience.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution Build, test, and deploy multistep customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
  • Create and manage segmented email, SMS, and push notification campaigns.
  • Support triggered, scheduled, and real-time marketing programs across the customer lifecycle.
  • Maintain campaign calendars and ensure timely execution.
  • Data Management & Audience Segmentation Work with marketing and data teams to define audience criteria and segmentation logic.
  • Ensure proper use of Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and subscriber attributes.
  • Conduct data hygiene checks and troubleshoot data flow or campaign issues.
  • Content Setup & Quality Assurance Build and QA email templates, dynamic content, and personalization strings.
  • Run pre-deployment checks including rendering tests, link validation, and CAN-SPAM & TCPA compliance reviews.
  • Ensure brand consistency and accessibility across all marketing assets.
  • Reporting & Optimization Monitor and report performance metrics (deliverability, open rates, CTR, conversion metrics).
  • Assist analytics teams in building dashboards or recurring reports using SFMC Reporting, SFMC Datorama, or CRM data with PowerBI.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and A/B testing to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Develop and present executive-level reporting on all marketing automation, including individual metrics and financial impacts to the business.
  • Collaboration & Support Partner with marketing, sales, product, and analytics teams on cross-channel initiatives.
  • Support documentation of processes, campaign requirements, and best practices.
  • Assist with platform administration tasks, user support, and troubleshooting.
