The Associate Category Manager partners with the retailer to shape a forward‑looking category vision grounded in a deep understanding of the Drug channel shopper. By integrating the voice of the shopper with advanced analytics, insights, and tools, they translate category and shopper learning into winning strategies and assortments that drive growth for both Haleon and the retailer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of CPG retailer key account category management, shopper/consumer insights or related industry experience.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and analytical skills to identify trends from multiple sources and translate into compelling storytelling.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams.
  • Supplier POS data experience with Circana or Nielsen.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous CVS experience.
  • Retail loyalty and retailer POS experience.
  • Strong communicator and presenter, with ability to communicate across levels of the organization
  • High learning agility, people agility and change agility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a clear and compelling category vision with the retailer, grounded in a deep understanding of the Drug channel shopper and category dynamics.
  • Synthesize shopper, category, and market insights to deliver fact‑based, shopper‑centric strategies that drive category growth and support Haleon brand objectives.
  • Develop winning category strategies and assortment recommendations that create mutual value for the retailer and accelerate growth for Haleon brands.
  • Translate category and brand strategies into actionable customer‑specific priorities, including distribution objectives, merchandising strategies, and promotional plans.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Brand and Insights teams to ensure shopper and category learnings inform brand strategy and in‑market activation.
  • Provide insights leadership and compelling storytelling that clearly communicates the voice of the shopper and influences retailer decision‑making.
  • Support customer planning and performance reviews by identifying trends, competitive activity, promotional effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.
