Overview We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join CCR’s Capital Markets team to support strategic opportunities in partnership with Development, M&A, and Executive teams. The Senior Analyst/Associate, Capital Markets will focus on financial analysis, investment strategy, and cross-functional corporate development. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, the role will support the Chief Investment Officer’s (CIO) office in evaluating and executing strategic capital investments. The exact title will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree (MBAs welcome)
  • 3-5+ years of Excel-based financial modeling experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong desire to work in the energy industry with focus on renewables
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, attention to detail, and accountability
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment
  • Organized, diligent, and able to track/manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis
  • Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Renewables

Nice To Haves

  • At least three years of finance experience in investment banking, private equity, principal investing, structured/project finance, corporate development, and/or corporate finance
  • Formal credit and underwriting training a plus
  • Successful completion of an Excel-based modeling test will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Financial modeling and valuation analyses for corporate-level debt transactions and long-term financial planning
  • Conduct valuation and investment analysis for the firm’s Financial Sponsors and Board of Directors as needed
  • Execute cross-divisional Corporate Development activities on behalf of the CIO’s office
  • Work closely with the company’s Development, Structured Finance, M&A, and Investment Analytics teams to review capital investments, and efficiently finance these investments
  • Develop deep expertise in solar, storage, and data centers
  • In addition to close collaboration with the CIO, the new hire will have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Financial, Chief Operating, and Executive Officers on strategic initiatives
  • Additional responsibilities as required
