About The Position

The Associate Manager, Brand Strategy Value is responsible for supporting the team tasked with executing Taco Bell’s value communications strategy. As part of the value category team, you will lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at driving sales and unlocking brand love. The Associate Manager, Brand Strategy will report to the Manager, Brand Strategy and work closely with a cross-functional group of partners toward shared value business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in brand management or related roles
  • BA or BS Degree; MBA preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience with project management, cross-functional coordination/organization
  • 1+ years’ experience with creative or communication brief writing
  • Microsoft Office, Strong PowerPoint skills a must
  • Strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical yet flexible thinking, and desire to have a large impact on our organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Resourceful nature, with strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Ad agency experience is a plus
  • MBA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support brand marketing campaigns/commercials for Taco Bell’s value-focused communications in partnership with cross-functional and agency teams
  • Champion the creation of integrated and intentional creative expressions from our strategic platforms
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Public Relations, Digital, Social, Media to develop robust, multi-channel activations that effectively engage target consumers
  • Progress key workstreams around creative development from in-store merchandising to paid media
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional peers to capture inputs from multiple points of view
  • Interpret and use consumer insights to inform decision-making
  • Help prepare presentations for partners at all levels that effectively explain business challenges, proposed solutions and roadmaps to launch
  • Manages a quarterly value audit, keeping their pulse on the category and sharing relevant strategies and campaigns with the wider team.
  • Supports the development of creative briefs and routes designated promotional creative to ensure end to end delivery, brand consistency and execution.
