Requirements

  • You are able to obtain your resident state health insurance license or currently possess an active health insurance license.
  • You bring prior sales experience or a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales-focused role.
  • You are tech-savvy, comfortable managing multiple systems at once.
  • You are coachable, teachable, and receptive to ongoing feedback and development.
  • You demonstrate a high level of integrity with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • This is a sales role in a call center environment, handling both inbound and outbound calls throughout the day.
  • Calls are recorded and monitored, and success is measured by meeting daily sales metrics and performance goals.
  • Must be able to work between 5:00 AM–5:00 PM PST, including weekends, with extended hours during Annual Enrollment (October 15–December 7).
  • This is a licensed, regulated position; employment is contingent on required licensing and passing extensive background checks, including criminal and credit history.

Responsibilities

  • Guide beneficiaries through one of the most important purchasing decisions of their lives: selecting the right health insurance coverage.
  • Listen to, consult with, and advise clients over the phone on available health insurance options.
  • Partner with top national and regional health insurance carriers to ensure customers receive coverage that fits their individual needs.
  • Build trust with customers by providing clear, accurate, and compliant guidance throughout the enrollment process.
  • Complete initial training designed to prepare you for the state health insurance licensing exam.
  • Participate in an additional six weeks of hands-on training to quickly build confidence and sales readiness.
  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.
