About The Position

The Sechler Law Firm is on the lookout for a passionate Associate Attorney to join their team. As part of this job, you will expertly manage the entirety of a client’s proceedings, including interacting with customers, giving deep explanations of the law, preparing and analyzing paperwork, constructing trust provisions, and taking part in sales conferences. Responsible for drafting and reviewing Estate Plan documents. Perform legal research, prepare for and participate in administrative hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys. Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Draft and review for accuracy documents such as wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents. Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action. Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Manage clients through the completion of the estate planning process. Ability to effectively present and conduct client workshops. Possession of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited school of law and qualification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania. At least two years of substantial involvement in the field of Estate Planning. Elder Law and Medicaid experience preferred but not required. Membership in the Pennsylvania Bar Association is in good standing. Willingness to take instruction from senior legal personnel to serve client requirements and expand client base. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the capability to address issues innovatively. Public speaking.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited school of law
  • Qualification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
  • At least two years of substantial involvement in the field of Estate Planning
  • Membership in the Pennsylvania Bar Association in good standing
