About The Position

Join a nationally recognized plaintiff-side law firm as it expands into Colorado and builds a remote litigation team. This role offers meaningful responsibility on wage-and-hour, employment, and consumer class and representative actions against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies—while providing the flexibility of a fully remote role based in Colorado. You’ll gain hands-on litigation experience across discovery, motion practice, depositions, and strategy, with clear ownership and growth potential in a firm known for high-impact advocacy. As an Associate Attorney, you will support complex employment and class action matters in state and federal courts while collaborating closely with attorneys across multiple states. This is a high-ownership role designed for attorneys who can operate independently in a remote environment while maintaining high litigation standards.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in California or Washington (CA or WA Bar required)
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience, including discovery and motion practice
  • Demonstrated stable employment history (average tenure of ~2 years per role)
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a remote work environment
  • Must reside in Colorado and be comfortable with occasional travel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with employment law, wage-and-hour claims, class actions, or complex litigation
  • Prior deposition experience

Responsibilities

  • Handle employment, wage-and-hour, and consumer class and representative actions
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and legal briefs
  • Conduct written and oral discovery and assist with deposition preparation and strategy
  • Appear for hearings, conferences, and motion arguments (virtually and in person as needed)
  • Support case strategy, legal research, and analysis related to class certification, dispositive motions, and settlement
  • Communicate with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel throughout the litigation lifecycle
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff across offices to manage deadlines and case workflows
  • Travel occasionally within Colorado or to other jurisdictions for hearings, mediations, or depositions
