As an Associate Attorney at Orlans Law Group, you will be at the forefront of groundbreaking legal work. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited:

Requirements

Juris Doctrine (JD) from a law school
Admission to the Rhode Island state bar and in good standing
No disciplinary action in the last 10 years.
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and collaborative mindset.
Impeccable attention to detail and organization prowess.
Strong negotiation skills and a knack for achieving win-win outcomes.
No experience necessary
Position requires Strong Windows and MS Windows and Office (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) experience required; knowledge of Adobe/Nuance Power PDF; being comfortable with new technologies/websites and should be an advanced technology/computer user.

Responsibilities

Document Preparation: Craft compelling legal documents, from pleadings to motions to correspondences that set the stage for success.
Court Hearings: Step into the courtroom and represent our clients with confidence and poise.
Client Interaction: Building strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert guidance and support.
Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research to stay ahead of the curve and ensure our clients’ interests are protected.
Case Management: Take charge of case files, ensuring meticulous organization and timely execution.
Settlement and Negotiations: Master the art of negotiation, securing favorable settlements that exceed client expectations.
