About The Position

Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Personal Injury team, who will play a pivotal role in advocating for our clients’ rights and delivering outstanding legal services. This position will be based in Birmingham, Alabama.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Alabama required
  • 2+ years of experience in litigation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficiency with E-Discovery and law programs such as, Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine and OneLegal.
  • Detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
  • This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking, and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
  • Perform legal research.
  • Make court appearances as necessary.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.
