About The Position

CAREER OPPORTUNITYASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (Intake) A reputable, fast-growing law firm practicing employment law is seeking to fill a full-time Associate Attorneys for its Pre-Litigation Intake Team. We are looking for confident, energetic, and sharp attorneys who are quick on-their-feet thinkers. The area of practice is primarily labor and employment matters, exclusively on behalf of employees in California, with focus on wage and hour class/PAGA actions and single plaintiff employment lawsuits. Title: Associate Attorney - Intake (on-site preferred; may consider hybrid on-site/remote) Location: Los Angeles, CA (Glendale) - on-site preferred; may consider hybrid/remote Hours: Full-Time Salary: $100,000-$130,000+ (Commensurate with Experience) License Requirements: Active California State Bar license required, with no disciplinary history.

Requirements

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Active California State Bar license, with no disciplinary history.
Great phone etiquette
Heavy note-taking and typing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Superior oral advocacy skills, experience, and confidence
Great analytical and critical thinking skills
Attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and/or work independently

Fluent in English (spoken & written)

Nice To Haves

Plaintiff or defense side labor and employment experience is a plus but not required.
Spanish is a plus.
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Operating System, Clio, other software.

Responsibilities

Conduct phone consultations with prospective clients (employees who have disputes with their current or former employers)
Answer prospective clients’ questions
Guide prospective clients through legal problems
Draft memoranda of consultations conducted
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters
Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards
