This role is ideal for a California-licensed attorney who is motivated to build strong litigation skills while working in a collaborative, supportive, and highly engaged environment . Attorneys in this practice are given meaningful responsibility, consistent courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators on a wide range of civil defense matters. Role Overview As an Associate Attorney, you will be actively involved in all phases of civil litigation , from case inception through resolution. You will collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys while developing your own client relationships and litigation style.

Requirements

• Active member of the California State Bar , in good standing
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and sound judgment
• Stable work history demonstrating commitment and growth

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of civil litigation experience
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, or motion practice
• Comfort interacting directly with clients and opposing counsel
• Interest in long-term growth, partnership track, and client development

Responsibilities

• Handle court appearances and substantive motion practice
• Draft pleadings and motions with clarity and precision
• Manage and respond to written discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Support pre-trial preparation and trial proceedings
• Play an instrumental role in managing and fostering client relationships
• Work collaboratively with experienced litigators on diverse civil defense matters
