Associate Architect, Development Are you ready for what’s next, now? The Role We’re looking for an Associate Architect, Development who combines strong engineering fundamentals with architectural thinking and technical leadership. This role sits at the intersection of design and delivery—you’ll help shape system direction while remaining hands-on with code, tooling, and implementation. You’ll influence how platforms and services are built, tested, and deployed, using modern development practices and tooling—including AI-assisted workflows—to improve speed, quality, and consistency without sacrificing sound architecture. What You’ll Do Architecture & Technical Direction Help define and evolve application and platform architectures using .NET Core or Python. Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs. Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to ensure architectural alignment across initiatives. Hands-on Development Contribute production-grade code to critical services and shared components. Lead by example through implementation, refactoring, and technical problem-solving. Guide teams through complex technical decisions while staying close to the code. Quality, Testing & Security Establish and reinforce expectations around testing, reliability, and security. Design testing strategies spanning unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage. Leverage modern tooling to improve test efficiency, surface risks early, and reduce technical debt. DevOps & Operational Excellence Shape and improve infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD patterns (e.g., Terraform, Bicep). Support deployment strategies and production readiness across environments. Use automation and observability to improve operational stability and developer experience. Modern Engineering Practices Apply contemporary development tools to accelerate design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Evaluate new technologies pragmatically and introduce them where they provide clear value. Thrive in evolving environments and help teams navigate ambiguity with clarity and direction. What We’re Looking For Experience 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including ownership of production systems. Demonstrated progression from feature delivery into broader system and architectural thinking. Technical Foundation Strong proficiency in .NET Core or Python. Solid understanding of system design, software patterns, and tradeoffs at scale. Experience with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Architectural Mindset Ability to balance near-term delivery with long-term maintainability and scalability. Comfortable making and defending architectural decisions while remaining open to feedback. Strong problem-solving skills in complex, ambiguous environments. Tooling & Adaptability Fluent with modern development and productivity tooling to improve engineering outcomes. Curious, adaptable, and thoughtful about how new tools—including AI-assisted workflows—can responsibly enhance development practices. Able to guide teams in adopting new approaches without creating unnecessary complexity. Why Join Us Meaningful Influence: Associate Architects help shape both systems and engineering practices. Hands-on by Design: This is an architecture role that stays close to real code and real problems. Clear Growth Path: This role serves as a bridge toward broader architectural or platform leadership. Modern Engineering Environment: We invest in tools and practices that help teams move faster with confidence. What’s in it for you?
