RESPONSIBILITIES: Requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting systems and processes related to Supply Chain Management. This position will work primarily on supporting business process, integrations and systems as it relates to Supply Chain Management. In addition, the incumbent would be assisting with the support, maintenance, configuration and upgrades as it relates to those technologies. Finally, we are looking for an individual with a desire to focus on understanding business processes and learning tools and/or technologies related to Supply Chain Management. The person in this position: Configures and develops solutions within Supply Chain applications as assigned by more experienced team members.  This is inclusive of creating technical process flows and requirements documents that may be assigned to other development team members for execution (i.e. Integrations Team, Reporting Team). Tests and verifies completed configuration and development meets specifications. Works with other development analysts through iterations of development to gain acceptance and approval of testing before migrating to Production environment. Troubleshooting issues with existing processes and programs and working with business to resolve, test and migrate fixes to Production environment. Off hours and on call support will be required QUALIFICATIONS: Required Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related area.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing tasks and working cross-functionally with peers to achieve project goals. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Tested problem-solving and decision-making skills. Preferred IBM iSeries experience. Experience with reading and writing COBOL Experience with reading and writing RPG Experience with reading and writing SQL  LOCATION: Corporate Office, Austin MN    A comprehensive relocation package to the Austin, MN area will be offered, if required.  At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  The base hiring pay range for the Associate Applications Development Analyst role is between $64,425 - $90,175 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
