About The Position

As a Data & Strategy Analyst – Special Projects, you will support Avangrid’s Planning Initiatives team in shaping the future of energy through data-driven insights and innovative projects. You will analyze complex datasets, contribute to strategic research, and assist in the execution of high-impact initiatives that advance grid modernization and climate resilience. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Applied Mathematics)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and programming (Python, R, or SQL).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to or willingness to learn budget management and financial reporting.
Highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.

Prepare documentation for funding applications and regulatory filings.
Collaboration & Communication Work with cross-functional teams across planning, operations, and regulatory affairs.
Prepare clear reports and presentations for leadership, translating technical findings into actionable insights.
