Get ready to work on our biggest puzzle when you join the Network Planning & Alliances tea Job overview and responsibilities Network Planning and Scheduling is responsible for determining the routes, aircraft types, and timings of one of the largest and fastest-growing networks in the world. Associate Analysts are responsible for evaluating aircraft within the United Airlines network and making adjustments to optimize aircraft schedules with consideration to operational criteria. Assist with the development of aircraft schedules that meet operational criteria considering items such as aircraft flows, turn times, equipment type compatibility, gating constraints, crew availability, and other parameters Assist with the analysis of network and fleeting constraints to determine long-term fleet strategy Work cross functionally with commercial and operating groups to ensure viability of network plans Analyze fleet deployment to maximize revenue and minimize costs Perform ad-hoc analyses on the profitability of United Airlines route network and fleet NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including working onsite at our Chicago office location approximately 50% of the time and remotely.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
0-1 years professional analytical work experience
Complex problem solving through independent critical thinking skills
Quantitative analysis skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
