At Leanin’ Tree, we create meaningful greeting cards and gifts that help people connect. Our Sales Team plays a critical role in bringing our products to retailers across the country. We are looking for driven, relationship-focused sales professionals who thrive in a goal-oriented environment and are excited about growing their income and career. The Associate Account Manager is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with existing retail accounts while identifying opportunities for growth. This is a high-energy, phone-based B2B sales role focused on re-engaging customers, expanding product placements, and acquiring new business through referrals and outreach. Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience (B2B or phone sales preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working in a goal-driven, performance-based environment
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with computers, CRM systems, and data entry
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact existing customers to re-establish relationships and grow sales (minimum 85 outbound calls per day).
  • Manage inbound calls by servicing accounts, identifying sales opportunities, or directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Execute targeted sales campaigns (“blitz” initiatives) to promote specific products or programs.
  • Apply a structured 6-step sales process to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately enter and process orders while resolving customer concerns professionally and ethically.
  • Generate new business opportunities by asking for referrals and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate account data in CRM systems, manage call cycles, and clean up inactive or duplicate accounts.
  • Partner with the credit department to ensure smooth order processing for credit-qualified customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to support order fulfillment and departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain product knowledge to recommend the “right product, right store.”
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
