About The Position

AlphaSense is seeking an entrepreneurial, driven, and accomplished new business sales professional to join its growing Corporate Sales team, which focuses on selling to the largest Fortune 1000 companies across various sectors including Life Sciences, Technology, Media, and Telecom, Energy and Industrials, Consulting, and Consumer Packaged Goods. This role offers an opportunity to build on existing sales experience under the direction of a Global Account Pod Leader. Incoming Associate Account Executives will learn from senior Subject Matter Experts in their vertical while contributing to a larger team quota. The position involves selling AlphaSense's award-winning market intelligence and search product, which is built on AI and delivers insights from a vast universe of public and private content. The platform is trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500. This role is crucial for making a significant contribution to the company’s growth and future success.

Requirements

  • Ready for the next step, potentially fresh out of an SDR program with a strong track record of success, or looking to pivot into SaaS from selling another product.
  • Understand Sales as both art and science, and clearly articulate your version of the “science of sales”.
  • An accomplished sales professional, or possess a strong track record of success in a SaaS or non-SaaS sales environment, with a clear drive to understand customers and the sales cycle.
  • Hard-working and possess a ‘never give up’ attitude.
  • A Strong Communicator with the skills necessary to explain complex financial data and concepts to a non-financial audience, and the ability to communicate present and future value to all levels within an organization.
  • A Hunter, constantly working to drive pipeline through your own efforts, in addition to the support of SDR and Marketing teams.
  • Intellectually Curious, knowing the right questions to ask and how to uncover business challenges at all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales processes in your territory, targeting professionals in Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, Investor Relations, and more, in partnership with a Global Account Pod Leader and a team of Associate Account Executives.
  • Research opportunities, prospect, initiate discussions, build relationships, conduct demos, manage product trials, and close deals as an end-to-end new business sales role.
  • Partner with the SDR team to create prospecting plans and drive pipeline.
  • Forecast accurately and develop the necessary pipeline to meet/exceed quota.
  • Work closely with the Product Specialist team during trials to ensure client engagement and ultimate purchase.
  • Work closely with Account Management to ensure customer health throughout the contract term, as well as closing down sourced upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Gather and distribute product feedback from clients and prospects to the sales and product teams to help continually enhance product offerings.
