Job Description: Set up machines: screen printer, Pick & Place, and reflow oven Perform loading and unloading to and from machine independently Set up feeder to machine per set up Perform the simple machine change over Identify the basic SMT components Set up SMT parts to correct feeder Make sure all process tools, stencils or fixtures are in house before starting the set-up process Alert supervisory and maintenance colleagues regarding necessary equipment repairs Ensure assembled product meets compliance standards Work closely with SMT process engineer Overtime may be required as needed

Requirements

  • Typically requires 0-1 years experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior contract manufacturing experience is a plus but will train
  • Experience with component packages
  • Knowledge of machine operation of Tape and Reel and feeder loading
  • Good understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings
  • Fluent with SMT Package sizes and component identification
  • Experience with reading, comprehending and following work instructions
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Follow all PPE, safety, and environmental compliance procedures
  • Work overtime as necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001
  • Safe and accurate machine operation with minimal supervision
  • Computer literate with Microsoft office and other basic programs
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must work well with others
