As a Assoc Director-Technology II your tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Java, Spring Boot Framework, Python, R, Node, React, SQL, Native iOS, Android- Kotlin, Azure CLI

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Leads IT staff in developing, supporting, and maintaining new and existing applications or systems, ensuring system integrity.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Oversees the software development lifecycle process, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of IT solutions.
  • Vendor and Consultant Coordination: Coordinates with technology vendors, outside consultants, and internal resources for project support and evaluation.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Works with business areas and IT organizations to identify business issues, develop strategies, and set technical direction.
  • Project Leadership: Provides leadership for projects, including business case development, requirement definition, detailed planning, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
  • Lead and Supervise a team of IT professions for design, development, and delivery of high-volume, mission-critical applications using Java, Spring boot, SQL/NoSQL Databases like Mongo, Cassandra, Cosmos, Public Cloud like Azure, and REST across multiple Cricket IT platforms within Digital and Care function.
  • Architect and implement systems leveraging microservices and cloud technologies (InHouse, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, SprintBoot, MongoDB).
  • Manage, coach, and mentor a dynamic team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Drive key initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery while aligning with business strategy and technical direction.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept and planning to deployment and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to identify requirements, develop solutions, and implement best practices.
  • Ensure system scalability, security, and performance through continuous improvement and rigorous testing.
  • Partner with external vendors and consultants as needed to augment project delivery and innovation.
