What you’ll do: Team Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage teams of technicians, leading regular huddles, assigning tasks, providing feedback, training, and coaching, and evaluating performance. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction and engineering projects, working with dispatch to apportion work orders, ensuring work allocation, and maintaining schedules to meet deadlines and budgets. Compliance and Safety: Conduct in-field safety and quality inspections, ensuring all activities comply with regulations and enforcing safety protocols. Resource and Inventory Management: Oversee the flow and distribution of inventory and supplies, manage tool budgeting, and procure necessary materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of project plans, budgets, and resource allocation, reviewing work order close-out narratives, key metric reports, and time entries, and generating project status reports. What you’ll need: Oversee and provide expert consultation in the management of contract resources for construction and digital electronics activities, ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and optimization of Outside Plant (OSP) and digital facilities. What you’ll bring: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates. Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
